We have been designing and creating consumer technology since 1987: peripherals, audio and equipment used by gamers and professionals in more than twenty countries, under our own brands. The design and engineering are ours; manufacturing happens in Asia, in the same supply chain the electronics giants use and with our own quality control on top.

Running that business means moving thousands of references, reconciling invoices across jurisdictions, negotiating with suppliers ten thousand kilometres away and adapting to marketplaces that change their rules every quarter. None of it survives being done by hand.

And we have been writing software for years too: first the systems that run the company itself, then the increasingly advanced software inside our own products. The experience was already there; the only thing we had never done was put it to work for anyone else. That is AIM.
